The Frozen People - Andrew John Sowerby
The Frozen People is about people
in stuck in photographs after a piece of your soul is placed into them.
I really like this video because,
as an aspiring photographer, it makes you wonder about what actually happens
when you take a photograph. The narration and music behind the clips make the
video look and sound beautiful because it all fits into each other and what is
being said isn’t drawing your attention away from the photographs/clips, it is
drawing you in.
The way the photographs/clips
flicker makes you wonder if they are going to come to life and when they do it
makes you wonder about pressing play in life and capturing the moments.
Most of the shots are mid-shots and
they are all in black and white because they all look like they are from many
years ago.
